As a HR Tech World blogger I interviewed Matthieu Beucher, CEO of Klaxoon to find out what they are showcasing in the disruptHR startup zone, and how their service they can change the traditional classroom into an active experience.
FAYE: Hi Matthieu, tell me, why did you decide to take part in disruptHRTech this year?
MATTHIEU: We have a really exciting product that puts helpful, simple and powerful tools into everyone’s hands that will change the way that we learn, and we want to share it with the participants of the conference. HR Tech Congress is a huge HR event we have to be part of! Every influential people is going to be there. It is a good opportunity to find partners and discover the last trends in HR, as well as finding new customers and increasing our international development.
FAYE: Tell me about Klaxoon and how the technology works?
MATTHIEU: Who said that people learn better sitting in a chair?
Klaxoon is radically changing the way we learn, turning the classroom into an active experience by permitting learning everywhere, for everybody, every time.
Klaxoon Session is a collection of great ideas facilitating interactivity within a group. FAYE: Tell me a little about your journey to date and some of your customers?
MATTHIEU: Less than 4 months after its launch, people use Klaxoon in 67 countries, on every continent. We have a wide range of customers, from businesses like L’Oréal, Novartis, Sanofi, Schneider Electric, Thales, UEFA, Dior, BNP Paribas, and Suez Environment, to Universities and Business Schools.
FAYE: Who are the key people in your team and where did they come from?
MATTHIEU: I’m founder and CEO. After a career in large European companies (Daimer, Valeo & Alten), I created Regards in 2009 and Klaxoon in 2015.
Our CTO and engineer, Pierre Padagoy, ex-Alten, has a 10-year experience in IT and he is an Agile management addict.
Our CFO, Maël Jaffrelot, HEC graduate and 10 years of business development in B2B, managed up to 2,5 billion € and more than 120 people.
Our CMO, Marie Barbesol, graduated from business school, ex- L’Oréal & ex-Cegos, has a 10 year experience in professional training: she’s keen on pedagogy.
